This contract is made between Movement Dance Studio and the dancer and their guardian(s) listed below:
Dancers must commit to the competition team for the entire dance season ([Start Date] – [End Date]).
Attendance is mandatory for all rehearsals, competitions, and scheduled performances. Any absence must be communicated in advance and approved by the director.
Excessive absences (more than 3 per season) may result in removal from the team.
Dancers must attend all scheduled competition rehearsals.
Dancers are required to take a minimum of [2] technique classes per week in addition to rehearsals.
Missing rehearsals or arriving late without prior notice may affect placement in routines.
A non-refundable competition team registration fee of [$60] is due upon acceptance.
Tuition, costume fees, and competition entry fees must be paid on time. Failure to meet financial obligations may result in suspension from the team.
Additional costs may include travel, makeup, accessories, and team apparel.
Dancers must maintain a positive attitude, demonstrate respect for instructors, teammates, and competitors.
Bullying, inappropriate behavior, or unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated and may result in dismissal.
Parents/guardians are expected to support their dancer in a respectful and encouraging manner.
Dancers must be available for all scheduled competitions and performances. A competition schedule will be provided in advance.
Dancers must follow all guidelines regarding costumes, makeup, and hair as instructed by the director.
Transportation and lodging arrangements are the responsibility of the dancer’s family unless otherwise stated.
Dancers must report any injuries to the instructor immediately.
A doctor’s note may be required for returning to dance after an injury.
Dancers must maintain a healthy lifestyle, including proper nutrition, hydration, and rest.
Dancers and parents must represent the studio positively on social media and in public settings.
Any negative or inappropriate social media activity related to the dance school, team, or competitors may result in disciplinary action.
By signing this contract, the dancer and their guardian(s) acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined above.
