Student Pick-up and Drop-off

• Students under 10 must be picked up inside of the studio.

• We expect parents to comply with the law and park in designated parking spots.

Students

• No gum or candy permitted in the studio, only water is allowed.

• All food and drinks must be consumed before entering the school or waiting area.

• Each student must have the required attire and shoes for classes. The required attire and shoes can be found under class description.

• No jewelry or accessories are permitted, except for small studs. 

• All students are expected to be on time for each class, make up classes may be required.

• No cell phones can be used during class. Phones can be used either outside or in the waiting area.

• No touching the mirrors or hanging off the ballet barres.

• Bring a positive attitude to each class. No disrespectful, uncooperative, or aggressive attitudes.

• No bullying will be tolerated.

• Hair must be pulled back from face.

Inclement weather

• Updates for school closure or late openings will be sent through social media and email. Please check the homepage for an announcement in the event of inclement weather.

Attendance and Class Credits

• If by some chance your child gets an injury or serious illness, a credit for classes missed will be applied for the future. A note by a doctor is needed for class credit.

• Notify staff of any foreseen absences.

• If student is absent multiple times without school notification, they may not be able to participate in events and may result in dismissal from Movement Dance Studio.

Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, Snap Chat, Twitter, etc.)

• No posting anything negative that could hinder the way our students see themselves. 

• Please use your discretion when posting.

• If videos are posted, please do not show full choreography. Our teachers work very hard to prepare their work.

• Improper use of social media may lead to dismissal from Movement Dance Studio.
